Dear ACTA Members,

Last week, Sinorama Vacation Inc. in Quebec, Sinorama Holidays Inc. in Markham Ontario and Sinorama Travel in Richmond BC ended its operations. The following is a summary of where you can obtain information to assist your clients file a claim against the Compensation Funds within these regulated provinces. In Quebec, there is a new claim form (see link below) that has not yet been updated on the PricewaterhouseCoopers website. If a travel agent paid Sinorama for travel on behalf of the client, the travel agent is entitled to be reimbursed for the portion of the customer's money that the travel agent passed to the company.

Important to note that the Compensation Funds in BC and Ontario and OPC Funds in Quebec do not cover unpaid commissions to travel agents.
