For any Travel Advisor, including those just starting or those who have been at it for some time, the training opportunities are endless and often overwhelming as offered by host agencies, suppliers, tour operators, tourist boards and more.  That being said, few designations truly illustrate your commitment to ongoing growth and development like the Certified Travel Counsellor or CTM.

Earning my Certified Travel Counsellor helped me feel immediately more professional, it broadened my knowledge and understanding of many more aspects of our industry including how to better meet the needs of my clients, maintain that professionalism and grow my business.  For any travel advisor who is serious about their business, the CTC program should be a must to demonstrate to yourself, your clients and the industry that you have completed the necessary training and continue to take the time to invest in your ongoing training and your commitment to excellence and professionalism.
