Global Advocacy: ACTA at Critical IATA Meeting

Last week, ACTA represented Canada’s travel agencies and independent travel advisors at the Passenger Agency Programme Global Joint Council (PAPGJC) in Madrid. This global forum allows advisor representatives to advocate for member interests on key Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) policies and practices.

Key topics of discussion included the adoption of New Distribution Capability (NDC), fraud prevention measures, and ensuring fair treatment of travel advisors within the BSP framework. ACTA continues to engage at the global level to protect the interests of Canadian travel agencies and advisors in an evolving regulatory landscape.
