Travel Agency Membership
ACTA's core membership category is travel agency membership, consisting of travel agencies across Canada. The agency owner pays for the membership of the head office and all branch locations with a valid TICO (Ontario), OPC (Quebec), or Consumer Protection BC registration number. Dues are based on the number of agency personnel and travel advisors at each location. Each eligible agency employee or travel advisor within a location will receive a digital ACTA membership card (PDF/Apple & Google Wallet).
Independent Travel Advisor Membership

Travel Supplier Membership
Travel Supplier membership is a category for companies or organizations in the travel industry that are not travel agencies but wish to join ACTA to support its efforts and connect with this vital distribution channel. By becoming an ACTA Travel Supplier member, you support and connect with Canada's travel advisor community. Travel Supplier members include:

International Membership
International Membership is a category for travel agencies or suppliers who operate outside of Canada but want to connect with the Canadian travel industry and learn about best practices and tools used in our country. Becoming an International Member demonstrates a commitment to developing closer ties with Canadian travel advisors.
Certified Travel Counsellor or Certified Travel Manager Membership
The Certified Travel Counsellor (CTC) and Certified Travel Manager (CTM) designations are nationally recognized throughout Canada as the mark of excellence in the travel industry. These certifications demonstrate an individual's competence and provide a marketable credential. Travel advisors with the CTC designation are among the most highly qualified professionals in their field.
Travel or Tourism Educational Facilities
This membership category is comprised of educational facilities that offer travel and tourism programs. Through ACTA's learning programs, this membership category connects educators and students with access to online learning required to become licensed, certified, or a product specialist.
