2021 bring hope and disappointing developments for travel industry as second wave of COVID takes hold
As 2020 came to an end, there seemed to be some light ahead with the start of the vaccine roll out and various pilot projects underway with rapid testing through select Canadian airports.

However, the start of 2021 brought another blow to the industry-- and to Travel Agents --from the federal government – a pre-boarding testing requirement announced on New Year’s Eve with only a week to prepare.

ACTA was very disappointed by the complete lack of consultation with the travel industry as to the feasibility of this plan.
