ACTA’s meeting with Transport Minister, Marc Garneau

ACTA would like to take a moment to thank the Office of Omar Alghabra, Member of Parliament for Mississauga Centre for arranging a productive meeting on August 15, 2017 with Transport Minister Marc Garneau to discuss ACTA’s submission and receive more input on the upcoming Bill C-49, the passenger bill of rights.

We were very pleased to learn our voice is being heard and how serious this issue is being taken by our government who is very well versed on the topic of BillC-49. For ACTA, we look forward to continuing to represent our member interests and providing stakeholder input as new legislation is drafted. We will keep our members updated as things progress on this topic and thank you all for your ongoing support.
