Year Round Travel's president, Joe Scott is a tourism veteran of over 35 years and is deeply concerned about the current state of our industry. He believes that strong advocacy is imperative and A.C.T.A. is the association that best represents the retail travel agent. His business, Year Round Travel, has been in operation for over 25 years, and like most of us, he is very passionate about our industry.

"After the first few hectic weeks of the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent global tourism shut
down it became apparent that our industry was in big trouble. Unfortunately, due to the nature of our business we will be one of the last to recover financially".

He goes on to say "I felt so strongly about our collective plight that I was compelled to do something to help all the incredible people and companies that together make up our industry. I needed to do
something that would offer some immediate relief to the many who are struggling. This is why I've
created TRAVEL INDUSTRY WORKERS GLOBAL ASSISTANCE INITIATIVE."

TRAVEL INDUSTRY WORKERS GLOBAL ASSISTANCE INITIATIVE is a not for profit company. It's
designed to assist travel industry workers around the globe by providing a web based opportunity to
stay in touch with their clients and at the same time generate some supplementary income. By
becoming a partner in TRAVEL INDUSTRY WORKERS GLOBAL ASSISTANCE INITIATIVE, industry
personnel can make money by selling travel themed; flatten the curve T-shirts, including The Rebel Road Tripper, the Consummate Cruiser, the Frequent Flyer and the Quintessential Coach Tourer to their client base. "I personally conducted a limited email campaign with our client base and sold over 100 shirts in one week" says Joe Scott.
