Introducing Marriott Bonvoy

Dear esteemed members of ACTA,

Marriott International is excited to introduce the new name for their loyalty program: Marriott BonvoyTM.  

This new name signals a strategic shift. Marriott Bonvoy is more than a loyalty program — it is a platform built on the idea that travel enriches individuals and the world around them. The program features a new logo and new branding across all consumer touchpoints, including on-property, marketing, sales, digital, and mobile channels, plus co-brand credit cards. Uniting our trio of existing, award-winning loyalty programs under the Marriott Bonvoy brand will begin in February 2019.

At this time, there will be no changes to the benefits and amenities members currently enjoy under Marriott Rewards®, The Ritz-Carlton Rewards® and SPG®. Members can now seamlessly book stays and earn and redeem points across the entire portfolio of 6,700 hotels in 130 countries and territories. They’ll also earn more points per dollar and achieve Elite status faster within the new Elite tiers which launched in August.

No action is required at this time. We strongly encourage eligible members to combine their Rewards and SPG accounts, using the online “Account Combine” functionality. Doing so will create a single membership profile. This combines points and Elite night balances, which may allow members to achieve a higher Elite tier.
